Sherman Hill Victorian Teas
New in 2024! Highlighting the era during which the Wallace family lived and worked in the Sherman Hill neighborhood (1892-1928), these traditional teas at the Wallace House include sweet & savory finger foods and 2 kinds of hot tea. Relax and enjoy tea and conversation in this gracious setting.
Accompanying the tea, a changing program might include historical information about noteworthy neighbors of the Wallace family, the fascinating history of Center Street, the neighborhood merchants who provided goods and services, or the interesting women who lived in Sherman Hill.
Sherman Hill Victorian Teas are open to the general public by reservation. Nearly all the fruits and vegetables are grown at the Wallace Farm. Other ingredients are locally sourced whenever possible.
Our facilities are not food allergen or gluten-free. Our staff will do our best to prevent cross-contamination. Please be aware our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts. Due to the nature of the offerings at our tea, we are not able to accommodate all dietary requirements. For dietary concerns, please contact Colette before booking your tickets.
Please let us know about accessibility needs in advance.
Because our program experiences are planned on pre-registrations, fees are non-refundable if cancellation is received less than 10 days before the event date. Refunds for reservations made by credit card will reflect a deduction of the transaction fees. Registrants are always welcome to send someone in their place if unable to attend.
