Pizza on the Prairie

Come to the prairie at the Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center for freshly-made pizza packed full with straight-from-the-farm veggies & local meats. Soft drinks, Iowa wines, and desserts available for purchase or BYOB. Enjoy live music, play lawn games and walk the prairie path. Seating is limited, so bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Our Pizza on the Prairie launch is Saturday, September 7, part of the Prairie Art Festival. In addition to games and entertainment, you can see dozens of prairie art exhibits on display in the 9 acres of restored prairie. Educational displays will be on hand and prairie walks scheduled throughout the day. Admission is free.
