Specialty pizza created with fresh garden produce “ This is the best pizza I’ve ever had ” Local musicians provide weekly live music “ We can’t wait to take friends ” Food & drinks include house favorites plus changing specials From-scratch sides and desserts round out your meal Take time to walk the prairie path “ This experience sums up what it means to live in Iowa ”

Pizza + Prairie = Perfect Summer

Come to the prairie at the Wallace Farm on Friday nights during the summer for from-scratch brick oven pizza packed with straight-from-the-farm veggies & local meats! House-made sides, desserts and a signature drink are all crafted from the garden produce harvested just steps away from the kitchen. Beer, wine and soft drinks available, too. Live music from 5:30 to 9 pm. There’s plenty of room for yard games; bring your own or borrow ours. Walk the prairie path and enjoy the outdoor art along the way: 5 permanent sculptures + the temporary Prairie Art exhibit. Seating is limited, so bring your own lawn chairs and blankets.

Reservations are required for this award-winning event and will gradually open throughout the season.

Our facilities are not food allergen or gluten-free. Our staff will do our best to prevent cross-contamination. Please be aware our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts.

Know Before You Go

This handy Things to Know list can be forwarded to others in your group or printed.

Reservations/Tickets: Reservations available 5 pm – 7:30 pm.  Come early and stay late! Each adult (age 18+) must reserve a ticket for a specific pizza ordering time. If tickets are sold out, check back as cancellations often occur during the week. Call 515.243.7063 or email to get on the wait list.

Deposit: No deposit is required at this time. Please understand that we release a limited number of tickets each week so no-shows greatly impact our event and nonprofit operations.

Cancellations: Please let us know if you need to cancel for any reason by emailing our team so we can accommodate someone on the wait list.

Directions:
Westbound: Take the I-80 exit at Stuart then south to Hwy 92. Go west on Hwy 92 to the Henry A. Wallace Road (P-33). Another 5 miles south and turn right on 290th (1/4 mile gravel).
Eastbound: Take the Greenfield exit from I-80, south to Hwy 92, and about 5 miles east to the Henry A. Wallace Road (P-33). Another 5 miles south and turn right on 290th (gravel).

Check in & Ordering: Stop at the check-in station next to the Farmhouse to pick up your menus, then choose a space on the lawn for your group. Place orders at the ordering station in the Barn. A server will deliver your food and drinks. Sorry, no coolers, outside food or drink permitted. In an effort to reduce single-use plastics, bring your reusable water bottle and fill for free at our water cooler. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.

Seating: Limited picnic tables are available first come, first served. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. Shade is limited. Pop up tents should be erected at the edges of the lawn to not block views.

Weather: In case of rain, orders can be made to go. There is limited inside seating.

Trash & Recycling: Please watch for the different trash & recycling containers by the Gathering Barn and follow the instructions provided.

Pets: No pets except for service animals. Leashed dogs are typically welcome at the Wallace Farm outside of special events like Pizza on the Prairie.
