Wallace Family Photos
These photos from the Wallace Centers of Iowa collection, spanning from the late 19th century to the middle of 20th century, were all once owned and loved by Wallace family members. They give us an inside look into how this famous family lived their everyday lives.

Mae Broadhead Wallace, wife of Henry and Nancy Wallace’s son Henry C. Wallace, posed with her son Henry A. Wallace, and daughter Annabelle.
This photo was taken in Ames, Iowa after Henry C. and Mae moved there so that Henry C. could complete his degree and work as a professor of dairying. Henry A. is around four years old in the photo, and Annabelle almost two years old.
The photo was likely taken in 1892 or 1893.
