Sherman Hill Historic Home Tour
September 26 @ 10:00 am - September 27 @ 4:00 pm
This year marks a special milestone for one of Des Moines’ favorite neighborhood traditions as the Sherman Hill Historic Home Tour celebrates its 50th anniversary, and the Wallace House will be part of the celebration!
Visitors are invited to step inside the historic Wallace House and discover its connection to the Wallace family, whose influence on Iowa agriculture, journalism, public service, and civic life spans generations. The tour is also a chance to experience the restoration of the home and explore the character of the Sherman Hill neighborhood.
