Historic Corn Plot Dinner
Each course of this special meal at the Wallace Farm includes corn as a featured ingredient. Previously harvested from the on-site Henry A. Wallace Historic Corn Plot, field corn is ground into cornmeal, corn flour and corn grits. Doors open at 6 pm, dinner begins at 6:30 pm. Wine, beer & signature cocktails available for purchase.
You’re encouraged to arrive early to walk the grounds, see this year’s corn plot and view the new prairie art exhibit. In order to welcome as many people as possible, this event is community seating. A short program during dinner will share the corn plot story and its journey to the plate.
