Corn Dinner
Celebrating Henry A. Wallace’s work with hybrid corn, each course of this special meal at the Wallace Farm includes corn as a featured ingredient. Previously harvested from the on-site Henry A. Wallace Historic Corn Plot, field corn is ground into cornmeal, corn flour and corn grits.
Doors open at 6 pm on Sunday, June 23 at the Wallace Farm with service beginning at 6:30. You’re encouraged to arrive early to walk the grounds, see this year’s corn plot and view the new prairie art exhibit. Wine, beer & signature cocktails available. In order to welcome as many people as possible, this event is community seating. A short program during dinner will share the corn plot story and its journey to the plate.
Our facilities are not food allergen or gluten-free. Our staff will do our best to prevent cross-contamination. Please be aware our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, or peanuts.
