DESCRIPTION:This 3-course luncheon includes a program of readings taken from the women’s section of historic issues of Wallaces’ Farmer magazine when Nancy Cantwell Wallace was editor. Each program and menu is a little different. Please let us know in advance about any dietary restrictions. Small groups welcome. \nBeginning January 9\, reserve your table online\, call 515.243.7063 or email Ann. If the available table size doesn’t match your group size\, please call to ask about possible adjustments. \nBecause our class and event experiences are planned on pre-registrations\, fees are non-refundable if cancellation received less than 10 days before the event date. Refunds for reservations made by credit card will reflect a deduction of the transaction fees. Registrants are always welcome to send someone in their place if unable to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Completed paintings can be dropped off at either the Wallace Farm near Orient or the Wallace House in Des Moines. The 2023 theme is “Prairie Footprints”–think about who or what has walked this land. Painting guidelines include: \n\nBe creative with the theme\nAcrylic or exterior paint recommended\nPaint the board edges to prevent weather damage\nSealing with 2+ coats of polyurethane is REALLY helpful\, but not required\n\nParticipants understand & agree: \n\nExhibits will be displayed on the prairie at the Wallace Farm June 1 – October 1\nYour exhibit becomes the property of the Wallace Centers of Iowa unless it is picked up by December 1\n\nYour exhibit may be photographed and/or used for WCI marketing purposes with remuneration\nExhibits that become WCI property can be repurposed without remuneration\nThe Wallace Centers of Iowa is not responsible for damage\, loss or theft
