Know Your Farmer: Mangalitsa Estates Pork Dinner #2

Chef Katie is teaming up with Iowa farmers Steve and Becky Kerns for a second Mangalitsa pork dinner! This heirloom breed is known for its especially tender, flavorful pork. Steve and Becky will be on hand to share their story before and after dinner. 3-course menu includes pan-roasted flat iron steak with spinach, lettuce, quark cheese, pickled rhubarb and rhubarb viniagrette; red wine braised pork shoulder with crispy polenta cake, farm vegetables and eggplant relish; dark chocolate tart with peanut butter mousse and candied bacon. 6:30 pm dinner, doors open at 6 pm. $55/person includes tip. BYOB. Community seating as space is limited to 40 people.
